This is an exciting opportunity at DL Custom! DL Custom is a recognized leader in designing and supplying high end technology intensive stations.
Reporting to the Shop Foreman, the Stock associateis responsible for the programming, set up and production run of metal parts that meet dimensional specifications of mechanical engineered drawings.Permanent position based on completion of probationary period.
Job Description:
• Complete tasks such as loading, unloading, sorting, picking, stocking, staging, fabrication and transportation of goods.
• Load and unload materials to and from designated storage area, such as racks, shelves, or vehicles. Stack or pile materials, such as lumber, boards, or pallets.
• Install protective devices, such as bracing, padding, or strapping, to prevent shifting or damage to items being transported.
• Verify computations against physical count of stock.
• Maintains condition of work area (i.e. free of trash, product in correct location, etc.). Follows company safety policies and procedures and encourages other associates to do the same.
• Receive and fill orders or sell supplies, materials, and products to installers.
• May drive truck to pick up incoming stock or deliver materials to designated locations or operate forklift or other machinery to complete tasks.
• Help in product assembly and shipping.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
Education/Experience:
• Fabricating – 2yrs
• Experience in a manufacturing plant required.
Shift: -Days / Afternoon/Weekends

Experienced Welder:

Job Description:
• Manufacture and fabricate finished metal products
• Install and repair various equipment and components
• Follow blueprints to meet product specifications
• Calculate material measurements to verify specifications
• Conduct tests to evaluate weld quality and tolerance
Employment Requirements:
• Previous experience in welding, fabricating, or other related fields
• Familiarity with welding tools and procedures
• Familiarity with engineering blueprints
• Ability to handle physical workload
• Experience with aligning, fitting, welding, measuring, layout, marking, cutting and grinding.
• Valid welding certificates
Education/Experience:
• Fabricating – 2yrs
• Experience in a manufacturing plant required.

Press Brake Operator:

Reporting to the Shop Foreman, the Press Brake Operator is responsible for the programming, set up and production run of metal parts that meet dimensional specifications of mechanical engineered drawings.Permanent position based on completion of probationary period.
Job Description:
• Operate All Steel CNC brake press and other machinery used in the production process or assist other machine operators
• Select proper punches and dies based on material thickness and type
• Set up tooling, load programs and set machine parameters to ensure optimal performance of the equipment
• Determine if tools are undamaged and in safe condition for use
• Consistently produce usable product that meets dimensional specifications of engineered drawings
• Read work orders and tag product as required
• Lift materials, final products and items packed for shipment, manually up to 50 pounds
• Work in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities
• Work with team members to maximize productivity and efficiency
• Keep all work areas clean and organized
• Work in compliance with allcompany standards, following all safety protocols
• Perform other duties as assigned or required
Employment Requirements:
• Minimum 2-3 years’ experience working with sheet metal
• Ability to read drawings and specifications and a knowledge of engineered specified tolerances
• Knowledge of tooling and tool maintenance
• Basic knowledge of AutoCAD preferred
• Excellent attention to detail
• Proven measurement and mathematical conversion skills including tape measures, angle gauges and calipers
• Self-starter with the ability to work independently
Education/Experience:
• Experience using Press Break Machines
• Experience in a manufacturing plant required.

CNC Machinist:
This is an exciting opportunity to DL Custom!DLCustom is a recognized leader in designing and supplying high end technology intensive stations.
CNC Machinist -The ideal candidate must be experienced in multi axis CNC operations. This position is on a shift cycle with set hours a week, requirement for overtime is based on scale and timeline of individual projects. Permanent position based on completion of probationary period.
Job Description:
• Requires machine programming, set up, clean down, and visual inspection of completed parts.
• Ensuring all parts are manufactured according to design requirements
• Service equipment as necessary to ensure safe and efficient operations
• Adherence to client tolerances must be met.
• Adhere to deadlines of manufacturing work orders
• Always maintain a safe and clean work area
Employment Requirements:
• At least 2 years’ experience programming CNC operation in Milling, Turning or both.
• Experienced with setup and operation of Break press, Shear, Punch press
• Experienced on CAD-CAM packages.
• Experience with multiple material types e.g. Carbon Steels, Brass, Aluminum, Inconel, and Stainless Steel.
• Able to read and understand blueprints and shop drawings for specifications
• Ability to verify dimensions of parts machined using basic measuring tools such as micrometers, calipers, bore gages and other precision measuring instruments
• Must be able to work weekends and overtime as required
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team
Education/Experience:
• Mechanical Technician Diploma or CNC Machinist Diploma
• Experience in a manufacturing plant required.
